Job summary

Convoy Supply in Regina is seeking a self-motivated CDL driver/crane operator for our 1600 Reynolds Street location. You will be responsible for delivering and picking up materials, inspecting vehicles, loading/unloading, and ensuring load security while serving customers with safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will hold a Class 1/3 CDL with a clean abstract, have HIAB/crane certification as an asset, and bring at least 2 years of driving experience.

Qualifications

• Class 1/3 CDL with clean driver’s abstract.
• HIAB experience or crane certification is an asset.
• Preferably at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Manual transmission experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of flat deck load securement.
• Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs and climb.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections; oversee vehicle.
• Load and unload materials.
• Ensure load securement and use corner boards as needed.
• Match shipments to sales invoices.

We’re looking for self-sufficient, motivated CDL drivers for our Regina location at 1600 Reynolds Street who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.

Job Requirements

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Load and unload materials
• Comply with company and government regulations and rules
• Ensure load securement including the installation of corner boards to protect products while in transport
• Match shipments to sales invoices
• Use Samsara to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency and customer service
• Operate truck safely
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Inspect vehicle daily as per Highway Traffic Act
• Maintain clean equipment and monitor maintenance requirements

Qualifications

• Class 1/3 CDL with clean driver’s abstract
• HIAB experience/crane certification an asset
• Preferably having at least 2 years of driving experience
• Manual Transmission experience is an asset
• Knowledge and competency in flat deck load securement
• Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 100 lbs
• Punctual and reliable
