Job summary

Convoy Supply Ltd is seeking a self-sufficient Local Delivery Driver (CDL Class 1/3) for our Regina location at 1600 Reynolds Street. You will ensure timely, safe deliveries of construction materials and maintain excellent customer service on routes close to home each night.

The role requires a Class 1/3 license with a clean abstraction, ability to work outdoors in all weather, manual transmission experience, and physical fitness to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• Class 1/3 Driver’s Licence with driver’s abstract.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Manual transmission experience required.
• Physically able to perform tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs).
• Knowledge of truck weights and weight displacement.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups.
• Inspect truck and/or trailer daily.
• Load and unload materials.
• Match shipments to sales invoices.
• Use Samsara technology to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency and customer service.
• Operate truck safely.
• Ensure load securement.

We’re looking for self-sufficient, motivated CDL Driver for our Regina location at 1600 Reynolds Street who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
• Inspect truck and/or trailer daily
• Load and unload materials
• Match shipments to sales invoices
• Use Samsara technology to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency, and customer service
• Operate truck safely
• Ensure load securement including installation of corner boards to protect products while in transport

Requirements

• Passionate about great service & teamwork
• Dedicated to safety, on and off the road
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Class 1/3 Driver’s License with driver’s abstract
• Inspect vehicle daily as per Highway Traffic Act
• Experience with a knuckle boom crane is an asset
• Manual Transmission experience required
• Knowledge in legal truck weights and weight displacement
• Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 100 lbs
