Job summary

Convoy Supply seeks a Local CDL Driver Class 1/3 for our Calgary location, delivering construction materials from 3716 64 Avenue SE. You will conduct daily vehicle checks, load/unload goods, and ensure accurate shipment matching with customers while upholding safety and service standards.

We value reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to safe operations. Must hold a Class 1/3 license with a clean abstract, be comfortable outdoors in all weather, and experienced with truck-mounted forklifts;

Qualifications

• CDL Class 1/3 license with clean driving record.
• Experience delivering construction materials is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups.
• Inspect truck daily and ensure safety.
• Load and unload materials; match shipments to invoices.
• Use Samsara tech to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Operate truck safely and ensure load securement.

Position Summary

We’re looking for self-sufficient, motivated CDL Driver for our Calgary location at 3716 64 Avenue SE who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
• Inspect truck and/or trailer daily
• Load and unload materials
• Match shipments to sales invoices
• Use Samsara technology to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency, and customer service
• Operate truck safely
• Ensure load securement including installation of corner boards to protect products while in transport

Requirements

• Passionate about great service & teamwork
• Dedicated to safety, on and off the road
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Class 1/3 Driver’s License with driver’s abstract
• Inspect vehicle daily as per Highway Traffic Act
• Maintain clean equipment and monitor maintenance requirements
• Experience with a truck mounted forklift (Moffett) is asset
• Manual Transmission experience required
• Knowledge in legal truck weights and weight displacement
• Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 100 lbs
