Job summary

Convoy Supply Ltd in Mississauga is hiring a HIAB Operator/Driver - Class DZ to join our team. The role focuses on safe, on-time deliveries and efficient material handling at a major supplier location in Mississauga.

You will drive, load/unload, inspect vehicles, and use Samsara for compliance and customer service. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability in a fast-paced construction materials environment.

Qualifications

• HIAB experience is required.
• 2 years of driving experience preferred.
• Proficiency in flat deck load securement is essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Load and unload materials.
• Comply with company and government regulations and rules.
• Ensure load securement including installation of corner boards.
• Match shipments to sales invoices.
• Use Samsara to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency and customer service.
• Operate truck safely.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Inspect vehicle daily as per Highway Traffic Act.
• Maintain clean equipment and monitor maintenance requirements.

We’re looking for self-sufficient, motivated CDL drivers for our Mississaugalocation at 195 Statesman Drive,who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.

Job requirements

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Load and unload materials

• Ensure load securement including the installation of corner boards to protect products while in transport
• Match shipments to sales invoices
• Use Samsara to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency and customer service
• Operate truck safely
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Inspect vehicle daily as per Highway Traffic Act
• Maintain clean equipment and monitor maintenance requirements

Qualifications

• Class AZ/DZ CDL with clean driver’s abstract
• HIAB experience and 0-8 ton crane certification required
• Preferably having at least 2 years of driving experience
• Manual Transmission experience is an asset
• Knowledge and competency in flat deck load securement
• Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 100 lbs
• Punctual and reliable
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
