Qualifications

  • RRT, RN, or LPN with good standing registration preferred.
  • Experience in Oxygen Therapy is seen positively.
  • G class Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor respiratory therapy at clients' homes with assessments and follow-ups.

Job description

CPAP Clinician – Williams Lake, BC

We provide clinical consultation and treatment for individuals diagnosed with Sleep Disordered Breathing conditions. We are dedicated to helping our patients improve their lives through better sleep.

This is a great opportunity for a CPAP Clinician looking for a meaningful career with lots of potential for growth and competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Initiate and monitor prescribed respiratory therapy at clients’ homes, including assessments, education, documentation, and follow-up for equipment performance and compliance.
  • Deliver and exchange equipment, which may involve lifting up to 60lbs and long-distance travel for home visits.
  • Conduct respiratory equipment in-service training with various community partners.
  • Perform initial oxygen set-up for discharged clients from health care facility and regular follow-up assessments for oxygen therapy.
  • Conduct in-office consultations and comprehensive sleep consultations with patients, ensuring high patient interaction and support.
  • Perform Pulmonary Function Testing (Spirometry, Lung Volumes, Diffusion Capacity, Methacholine Challenges, MIPs/MEPs, Oximetry and Arterial Blood Gases) with quality assessments and documentations.
  • Effective communication with Physicians, administrative staff, Managers and Directors.

Skills & Qualifications
  • A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Polysomnographic Technology (RPSGT), or Certified in Clinical Sleep Health (CCSH) with current registration in good standing with their college is highly preferred.
  • A graduate of any related science degree or Bachelor of Health Science is considered an asset.
  • Experience or knowledge in Oxygen Therapy is preferred; familiarity with PAP (Positive Airway Pressure) Therapy is a plus.
  • G class Driver’s License required.
  • Professional and friendly interpersonal skills with strong customer service values and communication skills.
  • Good time management skills, ability to work effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task, assess situations and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • The ability to quickly learn and understand various processes in a constantly changing environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (with flexibility)
Location: Williams Lake, BC
Wage: $25-$35/hour (wage varies on experience and credentials)
