We have a permanent part-time (0.80 FTE) opening for a Registered Dietitian to support Rehabilitation at Cariboo Memorial Hospital.

About the job
This position supports acute care, outpatients/diabetes education and long-term care in the community of Williams Lake. Additionally, travel is required to 100 Mile House once a week to support long-term care. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will leverage your clinical expertise to deliver comprehensive nutrition services, including assessments, care planning, and monitoring. You'll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary care teams, providing counseling and education while serving as a vital resource for the community. Additionally, you'll advise food service staff on patient care issues and menu development, ensuring optimal nutrition for all clients.

• Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics.
• Successful completion of an accredited hospital based dietetic internship program (or equivalent acceptable to the facility).
• Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC).
• Two years of clinical nutrition experience in a health care environment or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience suitable to the facility or program is preferred.
• Practice specific requirements and experience in programs applicable to practice area such as: Diabetes Education, Nutrition Support, and Kidney and Chronic Disease Management Programs.
• Valid Driver's License.
