Job summary

FedEx Canada in Barrie, Ontario, is seeking an interview-position courier to provide courteous pickup and delivery on an assigned route with a focus on customer service. The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift heavy packages, and adherence to FedEx Canada operations and customs guidelines.

Flexible shifts and weekend/holiday availability are required, with a start wage of CAD 23.28 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/educational equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• One (1) year customer oriented business experience preferred.
• Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada features of service.
• Provide related customer service functions.
