Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a part-time courier to provide courteous pickup and delivery on an assigned route. You will check shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada service standards and perform related customer service duties.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment, and a willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or educational equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• One year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.
• Must complete mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
• Some knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environment.
• Willingness to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays based on business needs.
