Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Timmins, Ontario is seeking a Courier for an interview-position focused on couried pickup and delivery along an assigned route. You will ensure courteous, efficient service and verify shipments for compliance with FedEx Canada standards.

The role requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, ability to lift up to 70 lbs (and maneuver heavier packages with equipment), and strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Able to maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• One year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.
• Must pass mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs is an asset.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route.
• Check shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service and provide related customer service.
