Job description

Job Position: Courier

This is an interview position.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route.
2. Checking all shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service.
3. Providing related customer service functions.

This position will primarily involve bike courier responsibilities. Necessary uniform and gear equipment will be provided.

The position may transition to operating a Class G vehicle based on business requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Preferred: One year of customer-oriented business experience.
• Must pass mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
• Knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, handle stress, and work in high-pressure environments.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules and holidays based on business needs.

Additional Details

Preferred Qualifications: Posted date 21st May; Unposted date 29th May. Shifts are 3 days a week, 8 hours per day, either Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon.

Pay and Shift Details: Part-time Courier position, shifts from 8 am to 4 pm (Fri to Mon) and 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday. G license is mandatory.
