People & Talent Operations Manager @ Education Perfect

Education Perfect is an EdTech platform designed to empower educators and amplify their impact in the classroom. We aim to enable teachers to personalise learning at scale with a range of powerful learning, assessment, and insights tools, helping them and their students reach their full potential.

As an EPeep, you'll work on projects that have a real impact on students' lives and have the freedom, support, and resources you need to develop your skills and grow your career.

We're looking for a Country Manager to lead EP's growth and impact across the Canadian market. In this pivotal role, you'll drive strategy, revenue, and customer success while representing EP's global mission locally. You'll provide strong leadership across all areas of the Canadian business, align local needs with global goals, and help shape the future of education in Canada. This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic direction, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

What you will do

Strategic Market Leadership

  • Define and lead EP's go-to-market strategy for Canada, aligning with global priorities.
  • Develop a Canadian market calendar to sync product and content delivery with key education cycles.
  • Navigate provincial differences in education priorities, funding, and bilingual requirements.
  • Identify and capitalize on strategic opportunities across the Canadian education ecosystem.

Revenue Growth & Market Execution

  • Own and exceed Canadian revenue targets through new business, upsells, and partnerships.
  • Build a strong, predictable sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and effective execution.
  • Champion EP's solutions to address key education challenges like teacher workload and digital adoption.

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships

  • Build trusted relationships with superintendents, ministries, and key education leaders.
  • Represent EP as a strategic partner in-market, aligning internal teams with Canadian needs.
  • Work closely with educators to ensure EP's lasting impact on teaching and learning.
  • Lead, hire, and mentor a high-performing cross-functional team across Canada.
  • Promote consistent sales methodologies and foster a culture of accountability and results.
  • Oversee sales, success, and marketing teams while influencing broader team performance and development.

Customer Success & Product Influence

  • Partner with Customer Success and Marketing to ensure long-term customer growth and satisfaction.
  • Drive high adoption and customer advocacy through impactful engagement.
  • Provide Canadian market feedback to global Product teams to shape product evolution.
  • Act as EP's senior leader in Canada, bridging global and local priorities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure Canadian strategies are embedded in global planning.
  • Represent Canada's voice in product roadmap planning and drive alignment on market-critical deliverables.

About you

  • Proven leadership experience in a senior management or executive role, ideally within the education sector or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian education system, including provincial and federal education policies, bilingual requirements, and regional priorities.
  • Exceptional ability to build and nurture strategic relationships with senior decision-makers, educational leaders, and cross-functional global teams.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, managing large sales cycles, and delivering business results in a complex, competitive environment.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams, with a passion for fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and drive organizational change.
  • A global mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively within a matrixed structure while understanding local market needs.

We value diversity and are committed to providing equitable opportunities, growth, and development. If you believe you have the qualities we seek, but do not meet every attribute listed, we still encourage you to apply.
