Role Overview

As a Counter Sales Associate, you will provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively, understanding customer needs, and offering suitable solutions. This role combines sales responsibilities with warehouse tasks to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do:

• Provide fast and friendly service at the counter, over the phone, and via email. Assess customer needs and offer assistance and solutions.
• Process orders efficiently, handle returns and paperwork, and source out-of-stock items.
• Assist with picking, packing, restocking, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Support warehouse activities to keep the area clean and safe, including loading and unloading deliveries, and making deliveries as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve order-related issues and support junior staff with training.

What We Require:

• Over 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role within the industry. A clear police record is required.
• Knowledge of plumbing and hydronics, with a proven track record of excellent customer service and relationship-building.
• Ability to explain technical details clearly to diverse audiences. Skilled in managing busy counter operations and proficient with computer applications.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be responsible. Flexibility with work hours to meet business needs.
