Wolseley Canada is the leading wholesale distributor of plumbing, HVAC/R, waterworks and industrial products in Canada. This role sits at the counter, helping customers with product knowledge and fast, reliable service to keep critical projects on track.

As a Customer Service/Sales Associate, you will pick orders, verify availability, and build positive relationships with customers and colleagues. Previous wholesale or distribution experience, plus strong computer skills, are valued.

Formación

• Experience in sales or customer service in wholesale or distribution.
• Forklift or cherry picker experience preferred.
• HVAC and Plumbing market knowledge is an asset.
• General computer skills including Microsoft Office required.
• Exceptional customer service and professional communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Pick orders from warehouse for customers at the counter.
• Provide prompt product knowledge and information to customers.
• Respond to customers in person, by phone or email.
• Verify items available for the order as requested.
• Build positive relationships with customers and associates.
• Maintain stock of the counter area as needed.
• Offer help in the warehouse if required.

What You Will Do

• Pick orders from warehouse for customers at the counter
• As the first point of contact you will be required to offer prompt product knowledge and information to customers in a professional manner
• Respond to customers in a timely manner in person, by phone or email
• Verify all items are available for the customer as ordered and scheduled
• Responsible for building positive relationships with customers and associates
• Take initiative to maintain stock of the counter area as needed
• Offer help and assistance in the warehouse if required

What You Will Bring

• Previous technical experience in sales or customer service in wholesale or distribution required
• Order Picking and Forklift/Cherry Picker experience is preferred
• Local market knowledge with HVAC and Plumbing will be an asset
• General computer skills including Microsoft Office required. Experience with AS400 an asset.
• Must have exceptional customer service and professional communication skills
