Qualifications

• College or University Degree in technical discipline.
• At least 5 years in automotive and/or stamping environment.
• Willingness to travel to the US.

Responsibilities

• Identify and quantify cost factors including production time, materials and labor.
• Travel to jobsites to gather information on materials, labor and other costs.
• Read customer drawings, design docs and prepare estimates.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Sales and other teams to develop estimates.
• Consult with industry experts to discuss estimates and resolve issues.
• Use Siemens NX and Excel to calculate estimates.
• Evaluate cost-effectiveness of products and suggest improvements.
• Work with sales to prepare estimates and bids for clients.
• Develop project plans for project duration.
