isgSearch is seeking a Cost Controller for a leading construction organization in Canada. You will lead a cost control team, develop and implement cost management systems, and deliver detailed reporting on overheads, budgets, forecasts, variances, and cash flow to enable informed decisions.

• 5+ years of progressive financial accounting and reporting experience, ideally within the construction sector.
• Strong analytical skills to identify risks and present actionable recommendations.
• Knowledge of quality assurance, auditing practices, and financial data analysis.
• Leadership skills with proven ability to drive adherence to financial and cost control protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a cost control team including project accountants and billing administrators.
• Develop cost management systems and reporting frameworks aligned with company policies.
• Deliver detailed financial reporting and analysis on overhead costs, budgets, forecasts, variances, risks, opportunities, and cash flow - with actionable recommendations.

• Streamlining processes and building dashboards to improve reporting and forecasting.
• Support contract management by tracking approved and unapproved changes and recommending financial improvements.
• Establishing and presenting key performance metrics to senior leadership.

• Creating and implementing controls to mitigate risks across long-term projects.

Job Title: Cost Controller

Principal tasks and responsibilities include:

• Leading and mentoring a cost control team, including project accountants and billing administrators.

• Delivering detailed financial reporting and analysis on overhead costs, budgets, forecasts, variances, risks, opportunities, and cash flow - with actionable recommendations.

• Supporting contract management by tracking approved and unapproved changes and recommending financial improvements.

Qualifications and pre-requisites:
