Business Overview
The tax department has a dynamic environment and a high-performance team providing tax planning, compliance, reporting, and planning functions for corporate tax.

The Purpose of the Role
The focus of the role is on corporate tax work. The role performs research, tax compliance, tax reporting, managing tax audits, tax planning, and tax consulting services to various departments and business units, including Finance and Operations.

What You Will Do

  1. Perform corporate tax work including preparing/reviewing tax provisions, income and other tax returns, tax research, consulting, planning, leading tax engagements, and managing tax audits.
  2. Review of tax processes.
  3. Work on special projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • University degree, preferably with a focus on finance or accounting, or relevant working experience.
  • At least two years of corporate tax experience; 4 years of accounting/tax experience required. Public accounting (Big 4) experience preferred.
  • Financial industry and transfer pricing tax experience is an asset.
  • CPA or equivalent, or Master of Taxation.
  • Completion of CICA In-Depth Tax Courses Level 1 & 2.
