Professional Services Senior Consultant - Enterprise Network and Security

Job Summary

The Network and Security Senior Consultant provides support on projects to solution and deliver customer value. The ideal candidate has broad knowledge and experience across multiple industries, products, and services. Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, the Senior Consultant should be a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) with experience in Cisco network and security products, demonstrating strong design and implementation skills in an enterprise-scale environment.

Remote role but must be based in the Greater Toronto area and able to travel to client sites in the GTA as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning, design, and implementation services for client network security and route/switch technology deployment projects.
• Provide technical project oversight for large-scale network security and route/switch technology deployment/migration projects.
• Support presales solutions and level of effort estimates as a network security and route/switch technologies subject matter expert.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of CompuCom’s industry best practices and standards for deploying enterprise technologies.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to other team members.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum five to ten years of experience in designing, planning, and deploying Cisco and multi-vendor network and security solutions.
• Experience as a Senior Implementation Lead and/or Architect Team Lead.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple client projects in challenging environments.
• Excellent customer-facing skills.
• Experience working directly with product vendors.
• Proficiency in developing project plans, effort estimates, deployment, and testing plans.
• Strong expertise in Cisco network security and routing/switching.
• Experience with firewall solutions (Cisco Firepower, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.) in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of data center and enterprise networking technologies such as NXOS, ACI, intent-based networking, DNA, and SD-WAN.
• Competency in Cisco security solutions like ISE, Zero Trust, Firepower, Umbrella, AMP, and Email Security.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure networking is a plus.
• Methodical problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven, resourceful, and adaptable to changing requirements.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Education/Certifications

• Network Security CCIE or CCNP Certification.
• Router & Switch CCIE or CCNP Certification a plus.
• CISSP or equivalent is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or technical experience.
• Additional certifications (Fortinet, Palo Alto, HPE, Juniper, programming) are advantageous.

• Possess means of transportation.
• Able to travel at least 25% of the time.
