Job summary

Bulk Barn Foods Limited is seeking a Store Key Holder in Kemptville, Ontario to support the Store Manager and Supervisor in daily operations. The role is temporary, part-time with a flexible schedule including early mornings, days and evenings, and requires 12 to 25 hours per week.

You will manage staff in the Store Manager's absence, assist customers, handle cash transactions, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment in line with Bulk Barn standards.

Responsibilities

• In absence of Store Manager, manage staff and ensure that Bulk Barn standards are upheld
• Coach and motivate staff to perform their duties to the best of their abilities
• Delegate tasks amongst employees
• Follow-up with employees to ensure the tasks are being executed correctly and in a timely manner
• Lead and assist workers in performing their day-to-day tasks
• Assist customers in a manner that exceeds customer expectations
• Process cash transactions using POS system and Interact terminal
• Unload deliveries (in excess of 50 lbs.)
• Ensure the store is kept clean at all times
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Temporary, Part-time.

Schedule: Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, days and evenings, Monday through Sunday. Your availability must be approximately 12 to 25 hours per week.
