Role Overview:

Our Calgary office is currently seeking a Corporate Services Clerk to work with the Corporate Services team, reporting to the Manager, Corporate Services, Calgary. The ideal candidate will be an organized and eager professional who possesses great customer service skills and a strong work ethic.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing general and time-sensitive correspondence.
  • Document review, scanning and filing in document management system and electronic minute books.
  • Maintaining and transferring of electronic minute books, original instruments, and corporate seals.
  • Maintaining and updating of corporate vault.
  • Updating of corporate records database (address information and other changes).
  • Preparing and filing corporate forms and related documents (including annual maintenance).
  • Conversing, reformatting and proofing of corporate documents for online filing.
  • Responding to accounting inquiries, payment of agent accounts and submission of expenses.
  • Government agency/service provider account management.

The successful candidate must have the following education, experience and/or demonstrated skills:

  • Legal administrative certificate or minimum 2 years of law firm experience
  • Experience with corporate records database an asset
  • Excellent time management skills and prioritization skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
  • Confident and dependable, with strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented atmosphere
  • Proactive, creative and able to explore ways to improve efficiencies and meet the needs of clients, maintaining professionalism
