GardaWorld is hiring a Corporate Security Guard for overnight shifts at a Vancouver campus. This role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and exceptional service to employees, executives, clients, and visitors in a welcoming environment.

Overnight positions and both full-time and part-time options are offered, with training and career advancement opportunities through GardaWorld Academy. Uniforms are provided and the team values integrity and vigilance.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid BC security license.
• OFA 1 First Aid Certification (required).
• Strong report writing and technology skills.
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus.
• Physically able to drive, patrol, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Alert, detail-oriented, with strong situational awareness.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcome, check identification, and guide visitors
• Manage access control
• Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Perform computer tasks
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Answer questions in person or by phone
