GardaWorld is hiring a Corporate Security Guard for a 8-hour day shift in Burnaby, BC. This role emphasizes customer service, access control, and vigilant protection of people and property in a modern corporate environment.

You'll participate in ongoing GardaWorld Academy training, have opportunities for career advancement, and receive a uniform at no cost. The role values professionalism, integrity, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid BC security license
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcome, check identification, and guide visitors
• Manage access control
• Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Perform computer tasks
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Answer questions in person or by phone
