GardaWorld is hiring a Corporate Security Guard in Manitoba to provide high-level security and customer service in a busy corporate environment. You will manage access, conduct patrols, and monitor CCTV while engaging with clients and staff across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Manitoba security license required.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous security guard experience at a high-profile site is an asset.
• Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist visitors, verify identification, and provide guidance with strong customer service.
• Control access at entry/exit points using electronic systems or checks for authorized entry.
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to establish presence and identify risks.
• Monitor CCTV and security systems, document issues, and escalate as needed.
• Inspect and report maintenance needs of security equipment and infrastructure.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid when required, and coordinate with emergency responders.
• Secure doors, enforce regulations and city by-laws, and protect client assets.
• Document activities, incident reports, maintenance logs, and daily reports for timely communication.
• Foster positive staff relations and act as first point of contact during emergencies.

Responsibilities for Corporate Security Guard

• Welcome and assist visitors, verify identification, and provide clear guidance while maintaining excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.
• Control access at entry and exit pointsusing electronic systems or physical checks to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrolsof stairwells, hallways, and common areas to establish presence, identify risks, and maintain order.
• Monitor and document all security systems and CCTVfor suspicious activity or operational issues, escalating concerns when needed.
• Inspect and report maintenance needsrelatedto security equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to incidents or complaints, provide first aid when required, and coordinate effectively with emergency responders.
• Secure identified doors, ensure proper locking procedures, and enforce property regulations and city by-laws at all times.
• Protect client assetsagainst theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other safety concerns by remaining alert and proactive.
• Document all activities, including incident reports, maintenance logs, and daily reports, ensuring accuracy and timely communication of concerns.
• Foster positive staff relationshipsand act as the first point of contact during emergencies to ensure a coordinated and professional response.

Qualifications for Corporate Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• First aid certification an asset

• Previous experience as a Security guard in a high profile site (asset)
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
