Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Valid Manitoba Security Guard License.
• First Aid Training is an asset or willing to get.
• Use of Force Training is an asset or willing to get.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, clients, and visitors at the community office.
• Monitor access points and ensure only authorized individuals enter the facility.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address potential safety concerns.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies following established protocols.
• Provide respectful, culturally sensitive interaction with Indigenous clients and visitors, recognizing and honoring community values and traditions.
• Assist with conflict de-escalation and mediate situations when required.
• Work collaboratively with community staff to support programming and events while maintaining security procedures.
