Job summary

Super.com is seeking a Corporate Finance Intern for the Winter Term (Jan 4, 2027 – Apr 30, 2027) to join the Finance team. You will help build unit economics models and evaluate growth opportunities while collaborating with Growth, Product, and Analytics to assess financial impact.

The internship offers exposure to strategic finance, corporate development, and investor relations, with a remote-first setup in Canada and opportunities to engage across teams.

Qualifications

• Interest in how a consumer tech business makes money and the finance decisions behind it.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets; able to extract insights from data sets.
• Knowledge of financial modeling: driver-based forecasts, LTV, CAC, and margins.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to tell a data-driven story.
• Exposure to SQL or BI tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to defend numbers to a senior audience.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, CS, or another quantitative field.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized, proactive, and creative problem solver.
• Willingness to learn in an ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

About this role

As a Corporate Finance Intern at Super.com, you will be an integral part of the Corporate Finance team, which covers Strategic Finance, Corporate Development, and Investor Relations / Capital Markets. You will support the Strategic Finance side of that team, building the unit economics and financial models that decide whether a new product, feature, or growth experiment is worth funding. You will have exposure across key projects and have the chance to make a big impact on the team and our customers.

What you’ll be working on:

• Build unit economics frameworks and custom financial models that inform go / no-go decisions on new products, features, and growth tests

• Pressure test the financial attractiveness of proposed initiatives: break‑even lift, maximum affordable offer, payback period, and contribution per member

• Partner cross‑functionally with Growth, Product, and Analytics to model the financial impact of investment choices and size the trade‑offs between options

• Work with the data team to track post‑launch product performance against the case that was underwritten, and flag where actuals diverge from plan

• Turn financial results and KPIs into clear, decision‑ready readouts for internal and external stakeholders, including leadership

• Support additional Corporate Finance projects as they come up, from market screens to diligence support

What we’re looking for:

• Strong interest in how a consumer tech business makes money, and in the finance work that decides where capital goes

• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets, working across multiple data sets to extract insights

• Working knowledge of financial modeling: driver‑based forecasts, cohort retention, LTV and CAC, and contribution margin

• Sharp analytical acumen and comfortability with using data to tell a story

• Exposure to SQL or BI tools (Snowflake, Looker, Amplitude) is a plus, not a requirement

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to defend a number to a senior audience

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, or another quantitative field

• Comfortable multitasking in a fast‑paced environment

• Organized, proactive, and creative problem solver

• Willingness to learn in an ambiguous environment - excited to dive into new projects

What We Offer:

• Home Office Setup Allowance: $300 one‑time

• Friday UberEats Allowance: $25/week

• Learning & Development Allowance: $300/ per term

• Fitness/Wellness Allowance: $120/per term

Candidates can be based anywhere in Canada, provided they maintain a minimum 6‑hour overlap with the Eastern Time Zone and are available to work a 40‑hour work week.
