Job Title: Event Coordinator – Global Events & Strategic Initiatives
Position Overview:
Are you passionate about creating memorable, world-class event experiences? We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator who thrives behind the scenes and enjoys orchestrating seamless event logistics.
This role involves supporting the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of global events across Asia, North America, and other regions. You will manage multiple concurrent projects and work with stakeholders across time zones and cultures to bring strategic events to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of corporate and leadership events.
- Manage critical event logistics such as registration sites, attendee communications, budget tracking, and supplier coordination.
- Execute tactical event touchpoints including calendar invitations, registration processes, marketing materials, and on-site support.
- Assist in vendor and venue research, contract coordination, and logistical planning.
- Monitor and manage event timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and global stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience supporting global corporate events (corporate or agency).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong budgeting skills and a comfort level with financial reporting.
- Excellent project coordination and problem-solving capabilities – particularly in high-profile, high-stakes environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong research ability and creative problem-solving mindset.
Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and proactive work ethic.
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) – able to read the room, anticipate needs, and adjust approach accordingly.
- Quick learner with natural curiosity and drive for continuous improvement.
- Calm and focused in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience supporting C-suite executives and handling sensitive/high-visibility events.
- Experience working with global teams and across multiple time zones.
- Exposure to internal communications or corporate marketing is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience with a proven portfolio of successfully delivered events.
