You’ll Belong – Join a close-knit, high-integrity team that values transparency, trust, and long-term success.Your Core MandateStrategic Financial Management- Own the full-cycle accounting function including GL, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling—ensure the company always knows where it stands and where it’s going.
- Deliver timely, meaningful reporting that supports executive decision-making.
- Ensure all compliance, audit, and tax obligations are met with precision and timeliness.
- Serve as a key liaison with external accountants and financial partners.
Operational & Inventory Control- Partner with procurement and logistics to optimize vendor terms, inventory accuracy, and cost controls.
- Implement and enforce financial procedures that improve accuracy and reduce risk.
- Drive operational efficiencies using financial data and metrics.
Leadership & Team Building- Supervise and mentor a small accounting team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Assess systems and tools—recommend changes to support future growth.
- Provide guidance to other department leaders on financial implications of business initiatives.
What You Bring to the Table- CPA designation (or in advanced stages) is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance, ideally in a distribution, wholesale, or product-based environment.
- Proven experience in hands-on financial leadership, budgeting, and operational reporting.
- Strong communication skills—able to distill complexity into clarity for owners, executives, and cross-functional teams.
- An entrepreneurial spirit but grounded in process—comfortable in fast-moving environments and capable of building scalable systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Sage (Simply Accounting); LOC software familiarity is a plus.
- Strong track record of leading by example and making decisions with confidence.
The Offer- Salary: $90,000–$120,000, commensurate with experience
