Job summary

Dream is looking for an Intern, Corporate Accounting (8 month) to support our Corporate Accounting team starting in January 2027. This role is based in Toronto, Ontario, offering a hands-on learning experience within a thriving real estate platform.

The successful candidate will assist with quarterly reporting, month-end close, daily accounting activities, budgeting and financial analysis, and contribute to AI and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Finance, Business, or Accounting.
• Desire to pursue an accounting designation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work effectively in a team and adapt to fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely quarterly financial reporting deliverables like financial statements, MD&A and investor presentations.
• Leading the month-end closure.
• Assist in transactional processing and daily accounting activities.
• Assist with budgets and financial analysis.
• Support AI and automation initiatives.
• Support the Corporate Accounting team in ad hoc and improvement projects.
