Job summary

Dream Unlimited is seeking a Manager, Accounting & Reporting on an 18-month contract in Toronto to drive process improvements within corporate accounting and reporting. You will lead data clean-up, standardize processes, and partner with IT on AI automation initiatives.

The role requires CPA/CA with 3+ years post‑qualification experience, IFRS expertise (real estate preferred), and experience leading a small team. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CPA or CA with minimum 3+ years post-qualification experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading process improvement initiatives in finance/accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, preferably in real estate environment.
• Experience with consolidations, complex accounting issues, acquisitions and dispositions.
• Strong Excel proficiency and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement and data clean-up across corporate accounting, including standardizing chart of accounts and reporting workpapers.
• Identify and drive opportunities to automate finance and reporting workflows using AI and automation tools.
• Contribute to monthly and quarterly close processes for internal and external reporting.
• Contribute to quarterly and annual financial reporting and external disclosures.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany allocations, and balance sheet analyses.
• Coach and mentor junior resources within the team.
