Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in high-volume accounting environments (e.g., lending, investment, or fund accounting).
• Strong knowledge of private company financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead full cycle accounting for multiple entities, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage the month-end close process and ensure accurate financial statements.
• Supervise and mentor a small finance team while maintaining strong internal controls.
• Prepare regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS.
• Support delivery of financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full cycle accounting for multiple entities, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage the month‑end close process, ensuring accurate financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Supervise and mentor a small finance team (AR and AP staff) while maintaining strong internal controls.
• Prepare regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS and fund accounting principles.
• Support delivery of financial reporting and analysis, including KPIs, portfolio performance, budgeting, forecasting, and ECL analysis.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or ACCA designation preferred.
• ~5+ years of experience in high‑volume accounting environments (e.g., lending, investment, or fund accounting).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and private company financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks and Mortgage Automator.
