Job summary

CC&L Financial Group’s Crestpoint Real Estate Investments team in downtown Toronto is seeking an Intern for a 4-month term (January–April 2027). You will work closely with asset management and investment professionals to gain hands-on experience across the asset management process.

The Intern Analyst role targets students in their third or fourth year, or MBA students, with interest in Real Estate, Commerce or Finance.

Qualifications

• Completed internship/co-op in a similar role.
• Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; ARGUS experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent financial and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance across Asset Management, Investments, Development and ESG.
• Assist in preparing property valuations and investment return calculations.
• Provide asset management support including cash flow projections and redevelopment analyses.
• Assist with underwriting, due diligence, and investment committee reports.
• Gather and evaluate economic and market data.

Job description

CC&L Financial Group is seeking an Intern to join our Crestpoint Real Estate Investments Ltd. team for a 4-month term (January - April 2027). A dynamic, fast-paced work environment where opportunities for learning and growth are abound. This is an opportunity to work for an industry leader at our downtown Toronto office. You will have the ability to work closely with asset management and investment professionals and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the asset management process.

What You Will Do

• Provide assistance and support across various teams in the organization including Asset Management, Investments, Development and ESG
• Assist in the preparation of property valuations and the calculation of investment returns, as well as assist with external client and internal property and Fund reporting requirements.
• Provide general asset management support including the financial analysis of potential leases, cash flow projections, redevelopment projects and financing alternatives as well as other portfolio management analysis.
• Assist with the underwriting, due diligence and overall process of completing new acquisitions and dispositions including the preparation of Investment Committee and client reports.
• Gather and evaluate economic and market data.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and special assignments at the broader corporate level as needed.
• Provide support to Crestpoint ESG initiatives.

What You Bring

TheIntern Analyst position is geared toward students either in their third/fourth year of an undergraduate degree or MBA with a focus on Real Estate, Commerce, or Finance. We are seeking ambitious students with a strong academic track record, who are interested in making an impact. In addition to the above, the successful candidate will have:

• At least one completed internship/co-op work experience in a similar role
• Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS, Excel and Powerpoint; familiarity with ARGUS real estate software an asset.
