Job summary

The University of Toronto Campus Safety Services seeks a Corporal to lead a team of Constables delivering campus safety, security and emergency response. Under a Staff Sergeant, you will direct procedures, assist reports and training, and ensure timely record-keeping.

You must have at least a high school diploma with college/university credentials or equivalent, three years of policing or security experience, and a valid Ontario G license with First-Aid/CPR Level C.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with college/university credential or equivalent experience.
• Three years of law enforcement experience.
• Valid Ontario driver's license with clean driving record; First-Aid/CPR Level C.

Responsibilities

• Directs and instructs constables on procedures and interprets instructions.
• Assists in reports, training, traffic and crowd control.
• Investigates security problems on University property; supports management with records.
• Provides security for visiting dignitaries and performs related duties.
