Job summary

Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, Ontario, is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join the Core Lab team. Regular full-time position with flexible shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, reporting to the Laboratory - Core Lab.

The role requires current CMLTO registration and core laboratory experience, with strong knowledge of clinical chemistry, hematology and transfusion medicine, and the ability to perform testing, QC and instrument maintenance.

Qualifications

• Medical Laboratory Technologist with current CMLTO registration required.
• Recent Core Laboratory experience preferred.
• Knowledge in Clinical Chemistry, Hematology and Transfusion Medicine.
• Ability to perform testing, calibration, quality control and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, calibration, quality control and maintenance procedures on reagents and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve instrument issues in accordance with policies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records and reports.
