Qualifications

Job Description

The Coordinator, Marketing and Content brings Tricon’s brand and communities to life through compelling photo, video and social content. From resident experiences and community programming to partnerships, people and everyday moments, this role captures the stories that help audiences connect with Tricon. This they are hands‑on and creative, and can spot a story worth telling, shape the creative approach and bring it to life from capture through final content. They bring strong visual instincts, an understanding of social platforms and the confidence to work independently across a fast-moving mix of content needs. The role is equipped with a Sony a7R V mirrorless camera and interchangeable lenses, stabilizer, lighting equipment, drone and company-provided iPhone Pro. Our Toronto corporate office is located in Bloor-Yorkville, offering a central, transit-accessible location surrounded by restaurants, shops and neighbourhood amenities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Create, shoot and edit photo and video content for social, digital and brand channels, adapting creative for different platforms, formats and audiences, including short-form and mobile-first content. Work with property teams, residents and community partners to identify and capture events, programming, testimonials, interviews and other stories worth sharing. Partner with Marketing, Communications, Operations, Development, HR and other internal teams to understand content needs and bring those opportunities to life creatively. Manage content production from shoot preparation through editing, asset organization and final delivery, including coordinating shoots, content calendars and shared digital libraries. Manage Tricon’s social media presence on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube delivering content calendars with caption drafts and scheduling posts. Stay close to social trends, audience engagement and content performance to identify new ideas and inform future content. Ensure content consistently reflects Tricon’s brand, voice and visual identity.

Qualifications

Skilled in shooting and editing high‑quality photo and video content using professional cameras and smartphones. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Photoshop. A portfolio that shows strong visual instincts and an ability to tell a story through content. Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts and how content needs to adapt across each. Organized, resourceful and able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑moving environment.

Minimum Requirements

1-3 years of hands‑on experience in photography, videography, digital content creation or a related field. Portfolio or work samples demonstrating photo and video content creation. Experience managing social media accounts, content calendars, and caption creation. Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud or comparable editing tools. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when needed to capture community events and programming. Post‑secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.

Work Schedule

This is an in‑person role based out of Tricon’s Yorkville corporate office, with five days a week in office and frequent time spent across our communities capturing content where it happens. The schedule will regularly include property visits across the GTA, along with occasional evenings and weekends for resident events, programming and other content opportunities.

Physical Demands

Sitting/standing/movement: This role primarily involves seated work and computer use, with periodic standing and walking throughout the workday. Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers, residents/clients, and vendors and to receive and convey information in a timely manner. Hand/arm use and upper‑body activity: Regular use of hands and fingers for tasks such as keyboarding, operating office equipment, handling materials, and reaching for items. Posture and positioning: Occasionally require bending/stooping, kneeling, or crouching to access files, materials, or equipment. Lifting/carrying: Occasionally lift and/or move items up to 10 pounds. Vision: Must be able to perform work requiring close vision, distance vision, and depth perception, such as reading screens/documents and navigating the work environment.

Salary Range

Salary Range Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills. $59,310.00 - $78,610.00 This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on company performance and individual contribution as well as an attractive benefit and wellness package.
