Tricon is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Cherry House at Canary Landing in Toronto to maintain homes and shared spaces while delivering strong resident service. You will respond to requests, perform repairs, and support day‑to‑day operations ensuring high‑quality, move‑in ready spaces.
The role requires hands‑on trade knowledge in plumbing, electrical, mechanical or HVAC, a high school diploma, and the ability to work on‑site with rotating on‑call shifts.

The Maintenance Technician plays an important role in creating a positive resident experience by keeping residents’ homes and shared spaces well maintained. Combining hands‑on technical expertise with a strong customer service mindset, they respond to maintenance requests, completes repairs and supports the reliable day‑to‑day operation of the property. Working closely with residents and the site team, the Maintenance Technician takes ownership of each service request from assessment through completion. They take pride in the quality of their work and understand the impact dependable service has on the community. Cherry House at Canary Landing is a luxury rental apartment community in Toronto’s vibrant Canary District, featuring thoughtfully designed suites and resort‑inspired amenities. This role is based onsite and requires flexibility across shifts, including a share of our rotating on‑call coverage.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, including: Frequently required to sit, talk, and hear. Regularly required to stand and move; use hands to grasp, squeeze, finger, handle, and feel; reach, push, and pull with hands and arms; twist; reach overhead; stoop, kneel, squat, bend, and crouch. Regularly required to climb and descend stairs and ladders. Regularly lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. If driving a company‑provided vehicle: coordinate hands and feet, incorporating vision and hearing, to drive safely.
Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills. $50,890.00 - $67,450.00
