A national sport governing body is seeking a Coordinator for Finance and Administration based in Ottawa. This role involves assisting with daily finance operations and administrative tasks. Candidates should have a degree in accounting or finance and be proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office. Bilingualism in French and English is an asset. Athletics Canada is the national sport governing body for track and field, para athletics, cross-country, and road, mountain and trail running. Our purpose is to support high performance athletics excellence at the world level, and to provide leadership in developmental athletics. Athletics Canada is a not-for-profit, charitable organization operating under a Board of Directors elected by provincial/territorial members.
The primary focus of this role is to assist the Director, Finance with the day-to-day operations of the finance department at Athletics Canada. The role also encompasses some administrative duties as required by the organization.
Accounts payable and receivable, banking, accounting and tax, payroll, and administrative tasks.

This is a full-time Ottawa based position with an opportunity for hybrid work. The position includes a benefits package as outlined in the Athletics Canada Human Resources policies. The position requires travelling to the Annual General Meeting (May/June) and Semi-Annual General Meeting (November/December).
Compensation will be determined based on the successful candidates’ skills and experience.
