Our beautiful Cluny Bistro and Boulangerie is actively seeking talented and experienced SENIORLINE COOKS, LINE COOKS and PREP COOKSto join our Back of House Team!
We’re located in theDistillery Historic District, one of North America's most exciting art and shopping destinations and home to some of the top-ranked restaurants in the City of Toronto.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Preparing food according torecipes, portion controls and presentation specifications as set out by our Executive Chef.
  • Infusing care for the customer experience and the restaurant’s reputation in every dish.
  • Operatingstandard kitchen equipment with caution.
  • Maintaining clean and organized stations.
  • Following FIFO method to maximize product freshness.
  • Moving food products and supplies between outlets when necessary.
  • Reporting any equipment/utensil malfunctions/deficiencies to Chef on duty.
  • Working collaboratively with BOH team members.
  • Being kind and supportive with your colleagues on every shift.
  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

What you’ll bring to the kitchen:
  • EXPERIENCE. You have at least 2 - 8 years’ cooking experience (for Line & Sr. Line Cook roles) or 1 year of experience (for Prep Cook positions) in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Ideally, you have experience with French cuisine.
  • EDUCATION/TRAINING. You’ve graduated with a culinary degree/diploma or it’sin process. It’s possible that school wasn’t your thing, but you’ve got the equivalent to a college education through a combination of education and experience.
  • PASSION. You have agenuine passion for food and a drive to create.
  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS. You demonstrate exceptional relationship-building and communication skills among your team members at the restaurant.
  • ADAPTABILITY. You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • PERSONALITY. You’re humble coupled with a good sense of humour.
