Fraser Health is seeking a hospital kitchen worker to prepare and cook a range of items in a medical setting, following established menus and recipes. Responsibilities include portioning, quality checks, and ensuring timely production.
Requirements include a 12-month cooking program and a current Food Safe I certificate, with strong communication and physical abilities to support a busy, safety-conscious team environment.
The salary range for this position is CAD $29.24 - $29.24 / hour
Prepares assigned food items by methods/procedures such as roasting, frying, grilling, steaming, poaching, boiling and baking under the direction of a Food Service Supervisor.
Graduation from a recognized 12 month program in cooking or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current Food Safe I certificate.
