Job summary

• Candidates are responsible for the provision of food services to youth aged 12- 17, and staff at the Young Offender’s Facility, and catering Youth Justice functions.

Job requirement

• Candidates must have journeyman Cook Certification (Red Seal).
• They must have recent experience preparing meals for individuals and/or groups in a commercial or Institutional setting (including hotel, restaurant, camp, catering or cafeteria setting.
• They must wear cooking scrubs.
• They must have the capability of heavy lifting.
• They are responsible for using cleaning chemicals such as Bleach, EP50
