Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Canada is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals that support residents’ health and enjoyment. You will maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen, follow standardized recipes, and adapt to dietary modifications.

You will record production quantities, monitor food safety temperatures, stock and rotate inventory, and assist with dishwashing and dining service as needed. The role may lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary requirements.

• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations.
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.
