Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Canada is seeking a Cook to prepare meals that support residents’ health and enjoyment while maintaining a safe, clean kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes, ensure quality and presentation, and handle dietary modifications with attention to safety standards.

The role includes recording production, temperature checks, stock rotation, and maintaining logs. You will assist dining service as needed and may lead production when the Dining Services Coordinator is

• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
