Job summary

B.C. Cafe Ltd. in Maple Creek, SK is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve meals on-site in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will plan menus, monitor kitchen operations and ensure meal quality from start to finish.

The position requires a secondary school graduation and 1–2 years of cooking experience. It is a permanent, full-time role offering CAD 16.00 per hour for 30–40 hours per week. Youth-focused on-the-job training and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in cooking or food preparation
• Experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
