Qualifications

  • 1+ years of food service dietary experience required.
  • Must be able to prepare a variety of foods in different quantities.
  • Knowledge of Health Department regulations and guidelines required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food in accordance with Health Department regulations.
  • Assure quality food service under the Culinary Director's direction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in food preparation.

Part Time, 30 hours per week | Days and Evenings

New, enhanced payrate - $ 22.89/hr
(based on experience and shift differentials)

The Cook will prepare food in accordance with current applicable Health Department regulations, and in accordance with Saint Elizabeth Assisted Living's established policies and procedures. Perform duties under the direction of the Culinary Director to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.

Qualifications for our Cook:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 1 or more years of food service dietary experience.
  • Able to lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
  • Must be able to prepare a variety of foods in different quantities.
  • Must be able to interact effectively with residents and staff.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must have knowledge of dietary procedures, as well as related Health Department regulations and guidelines pertaining to food service operations.
