Nétur Inc. is seeking a skilled machinist to carry out precision work on conventional lathe and milling equipment, plus grinding and assembly tasks. Description du poste

The main responsibility of the position holder is to carry out machining on a conventional lathe, milling machine, automatic sandblaster, grinder as well as tooling and assembly.

Task description

Read and interpret technical drawings, plans in order to carry out precision machining operations

Calculate dimensions and tolerances, check using measuring instruments whether the dimensions are accurate and conform to specifications

Sharpen and repair production tools.

Prepare fixtures and jaws for production.

Performs grinding, turning and milling as well as the assembly of finished parts.

Perform welding work as needed.

SCHOOLING AND TRAINING

DEP Techniques machining

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

-1 to 3 years of experience operating conventional machines (lathe and/or milling machine)

Experience in the aeronautical industry-Asset

CONDITIONS OFFERED

This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week). The regular schedule is from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nétur Inc. offers a benefits program including a group insurance plan, a retirement plan as well as sick leave and floating days.
