Nétur Inc. is seeking a hands-on technician to operate additive manufacturing equipment and support the metal fabrication process in a daytime shift. You will clean and maintain 3D printers, handle powder sieving, manage inventory, take precise measurements, and document activities. Deburring and related tasks form part of daily duties.

The role requires good vision, dexterity, and strict adherence to procedures; bilingual French/English is an asset in this position.

Formación

• DES or equivalent required or equivalent training.
• Experience with metallic materials preparation desirable.
• Proficiency in machining-oriented DEP/DES certificates preferred.
• Basic jewelry making DEP considered an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out 3D printing operations and startup procedures.
• Clean and maintain additive manufacturing equipment; manage powder sieving.
• Track inventory and complete documentation.
• Take measurements and ensure quality; perform deburring with finishing tools.
• Perform related tasks as needed.

Descripción del empleo

The main responsibility of the position holder is to carry out operations related to additive manufacturing (3D printing). More specifically:

Additive manufacturing:

• Carry out the cleaning and maintenance of additive manufacturing equipment
• Proceed with sieving the metal powder
• Manage the inventory
• Take measurements
• Complete the associated documentation
• Start up the 3D printer
• Perform all other related tasks.

During cleaning and maintenance, wearing a light suit with simple breathing apparatus is required.

Deburring: operation consisting of removing burrs, edges and excess materials

• Make a visual observation of the part to detect any defects visible to the eye.
• Carry out the deburring of parts using different finishing tools (e.g. grinding wheel, sandblaster, drill, etc.) according to the indications provided on the plans.
• Other related tasks

Requirements and skills

• DES or equivalent, AEP in preparation of metallic materials, DEP in machining, DEP jewelry making (asset)
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position or other relevant experience
• Have good vision and excellent dexterity
• Meticulousness, respect for procedures, patient, conscientious
• French: spoken and written; English: spoken and written (asset)

Working conditions

40 hours/week, daytime work schedule, Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
