Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Description

This position is responsible for overseeing and managing the accounting and financial operations of a group of five auto parts companies across Saskatchewan and their associated property portfolio, including the planning, execution, administration and supervision of all financial and accounting functions.

Duties will include:

• Collaborate with managing partners to analyze financial data, deliver key reports, and guide intelligent business decisions
• Coordinate tax compliance and year-end review with external accountants and managing partners
• Set up new financial policies and polish existing procedures
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for all financial matters
• Prepare financial month-end Bank & Account reconciliations
• Lead, train and supervise accounting support staff
• Prepare journal entries and resolve discrepancies
• Oversee Accounts Receivables / Payables
• Complete tax filing (GST, PST)
• Complete and submit documentations for administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, employment and medical insurance
