Job summary

T. Doyle Transport Ltd. is seeking an experienced Controller to lead day-to-day financial operations in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to ownership, you will oversee full-cycle accounting, manage cash flow, and coordinate with our external accounting firm to ensure accurate year-end reporting. This is a hands-on role requiring strong Excel and Axon skills, and the ability to work independently in a family-owned transportation company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting.
• Transportation or logistics experience required.
• Proficiency with Axon accounting software and Excel.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounting.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and cash flow.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Complete month-end reconciliations and regulatory filings (GST, payroll, Fuel Tax).
• Prepare annual plate renewal, and insurance renewal.
• Support budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with external accounting firm for year-end reporting.
• Assist in daily operational logistics.

As a family-owned transportation company with over 40 years in business, we are seeking a hands-on professional to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This position works closely with ownership, logistics personel, and our external accounting firm.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounting
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Complete month-end reconciliations and regulatory filings (GST, payroll, Fuel Tax, etc.)
