Are you an experienced financial leader ready to take on a dynamic role? We are seeking a highly motivated Controller to join our team. Penn Machine Company, a Marmon Group/Berkshire Hathaway Company, is a proven 100+ year old company in a growth industry, leading manufacturer of products and services for the transit, railroad, mining, general industry, and oil/gas sectors in the US and globally.

The Controller is a key position overseeing all accounting operations across our manufacturing locations in Johnstown, PA, and Blairsville, PA. This role is vital for ensuring the integrity of our financial processes and compliance. The Controller will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting, working closely with leadership to shape financial strategy.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2. Minimum 5 years of general accounting experience, including in standard costing and manufacturing
3. Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance
4. Effective presentation skills
5. Supervisory experience
6. CPA/CMA certification and lean manufacturing experience are advantages
