Elby Professional Recruitment seeks a Controller for a Hamilton-based, in-office role. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee financial management for a multi-entity company, ensuring timely ASPE-compliant reporting and strategic financial guidance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a Controller in multi-entity settings, CPA designation, and at least 3 years of supervisory experience, with strong analytical and communication skills to drive improvements and audits.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with ASPE and regulatory requirements.
• Interpret financial results to assess performance and recommend improvements.
• Lead business planning processes including annual operating plan, budget, and forecasts.
• Oversee treasury, internal controls, and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and coordinate with external auditors.
• Support and lead process improvements and automation of financial processes.

Our client, an established and growing company in the Hamilton/Burlington area is seeking a Controller to join their team! Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will play a strategic role in the financial management of a multi-entity company. The successful candidate will utilize their skill set to interpret financial results and contribute to ongoing process improvements in the Finance department.
