Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Analyst with 5–7 years of post-graduate experience or equivalent, who is ready to take the next step in their career or currently performing a similar role in a comparable environment. This position requires strong contract management expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to influence stakeholders while ensuring compliance and optimizing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review procurement plans, contracting strategies, scopes of work, specifications, and draft RFP/RFT documents
  • Perform day-to-day contract management activities including attending or chairing progress meetings, monitoring schedules, expediting deliverables, and drafting change documents
  • Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms, conditions, and regulatory requirements
  • Track and validate payment requests, manage accrual reporting, and forecast contract spend
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all contract documents, correspondence, and change orders
  • Identify and accelerate potential risks, disputes, or deviations from contract obligations
  • Facilitate and negotiate changes, claims, and disputes as required
  • Assist in designing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance vendor relationships and optimize contract spend
  • Monitor, analyze, and report monthly expenditures across all contracts
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Qualifications
  • Business-related degree or equivalent experience (relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered)
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex installation, supply, consulting services, and construction contracts
  • Familiarity with Cost Plus or Cost Reimbursable Contract delivery model is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, manage risk, and optimize costs through innovative solutions
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The successful candidate will be required to travel to project sites occasionally.
