Here's how a Contracts Coordinator for our Civil Infrastructure office contributes to our team:

  • Reviews and modifies contracts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Coordinates and assists project personnel with contracts in accordance with project requirements.
  • Works directly with accounting to execute contracts and manage contracts in progress.
  • Develops and maintains customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Ensures appropriate document control and compliance through filing, composing, and editing documents, contracts, and reports for the district office.
  • Coordinates with vendors via phone and email to enroll in PCL's subcontractor default insurance (SDI) program.
  • Assists vendors with the prequalification process and reviews vendor bonds for accuracy and completeness.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma.
  • 1 year of experience in reviewing contract documents or equivalent experience.
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree, diploma, or certificate in office administration considered an asset.
  • 1 year of experience in an administrative role or equivalent technical experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to change.
  • Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to effectively handle difficult situations and remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to create, edit, proofread, and format documents and presentations.
  • Basic skills in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and OneNote.
